About Jess

Jess LaGreca is a digital illustrator and designer with a background in traditional fine art. She grew up in northern New Jersey, only a short train ride away from New York City. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2015 with a BFA in drawing and painting, and she recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with an MFA in illustration.

With a particular interest in combining type-and-image, her work has been used for album covers, book interiors, and the spreads and covers of editorials. As an artist, she finds joy in using the portrait as a theatrical vehicle for visual story-telling. As a designer, she is versatile and is always happy to adapt her skill set to fit the needs of her clients.

In addition to freelancing, Jess is currently working as the Art & Design Coordinator in the children's book division at Simon & Schuster, located in midtown Manhattan. She is available for commission and/or collaboration.
